An Ode to EquestriaI'm more at home at a library than a party
Not to brag, but I'm kinda a smarty
Hi! My name is the one and only Twilight Sparkle
I'll introduce you to Equestrian society which is very matriarchal
So many ponies of all kind
I'll introduce you to some I find
There's the alicorn Celestia, my faithful teacher
And my assistant Spike the dragon creature
I went on a race with my friend Rainbow Dash
Who once created a sonic rainboom in a flash
Another friend of mine is the farmer Applejack
And her stoic brother Big Mac
Be careful around the animal keeper Fluttershy
If you hurt her feelings she might cry
Can't forget the rich, drama queen Rarity
Who, despite her name practices charity
Also the crazy pony Pinkie Pie
Who throws parties like it's the Fourth of July
I wonder what those Cutie Mark Crusaders are
ObsessionSo what if I watch you while you sleep
You'll never see me go around and creep
You'll never notice me behind your back
Waiting to make my attack
I'm so anxious my finger's tapping
While I plan your kidnapping
It's not like i hate you
Or wanna hurt you too
It's cause I love you so much
Your body looks so ready to touch
I watch you from afar
Because soon you'll be my own personal star
The way your body moves makes me insane
As my hatred grows for your boyfriend, who shall feel pain
I thought you might miss him of course
So I brought him, go on and kiss his corpse
What's the matter? Can't move?
Don't worry your mine now, dove
TALK TO Me! You would never shut up and always mocked me
Well lucky you now I'm mocking you, ya see
Oh silly me you c
An Ode to KantoBulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle the original starters
Which will I chose to be partners?
We'll travel to Pewter City
Wow! Viridian Forest sure is pretty
Gym leaders there are eight
Such a fun game! Isn't it great?
I beat that weird eye guy Brock
The leaders tested all the pokemon I had caught
With my Charmander it might be risky
To try and take on Misty
We'll fight the evil Team Rocket
And capture monsters that fit in our pocket
Just wait until Giovanni gets a load of this
My level one hundred Lapras
Ugh there's my rival Blue
I wonder what he's up to
Yeah your pokemon may have made me a crater,
But just you wait "Smell you later!"
So I beat the tough Victory Road
Moved all of those weird stones
Found the Elite Four's place
And beat them all at my pace
Here comes the champion I wonder who
A Day in a LifeWake up for another day. Grueling
Step into the shower. Cleaning
Put on a towel and exit. Drying
Prepare eggs for breakfast. Frying
Step out the door for work. Driving
Turn in the work report late. Trying
Get fired for late report. Pleading
Have a breakdown in the break room. Crying
Escorted off the premises. Fighting
Go to bed on the floor. Sleeping
Prepare for the next day. Repeating
ConspiracyDon't you see them there in the boats
The men in black trench-coats
It's us against them don't you know
The government's no friend it's a foe
Don't get vaccinated that's what makes you sick
Medicine? Are you really gonna buy that trick?
Big Pharma's controlling us all
Making citizens their corporate doll
9/11 was an inside job done by Bush's crew
Pearl Harbor, they knew about that too
They killed JFK it's all a plot
Just wait until you see who's at their top
He faked the moon landing ya see
Hid the Roswell aliens from you and me
Hitler! Its obvious he escaped to the moon
And is trying to spell the earth's doom
Edible PastriesEdible Pastries
by Rob Hawkins
Let's not be some disgusting raddish
Even though the cool kids think they're faddish
Let's not be a soup filled with tomatoes,
Spices, and gross potatoes
Let's not be bland and tasteless chicken
Or strawberries ripe for the picken
I know in my heart and brain true
That the one for me and you...
Are edible pastries "Dear Lord!"
That's right edible pastries "How absurd!"
Let's be a croissant
Who's flakes flaunt
Let's be an eclair
Who's taste dares
Edible pastries! So many to a kind
The perfect treat for when you unwind
So in general it's brilliant
For all of us to be different
To color outside the lines
And break the chains that bind
This MorningThis Morning
by Rob Hawkins
Next week I went to the dry cleaner
And the employee said sugar or creamer
Due to this problem my mind
Was in quite the bind
And I had no choice but to rocket
My body into the back pocket
Of the moon
But I didn't have gloom
Although Mars isn't the best place to raise Ginsing
Which is great cause I find it quite bewildering
And that's the story of how I went to Saturn
Now maybe one day I can find the pattern
And I too can stop wildfires
And fix my day old tires
Volpi. You will find that the story you tell
is very rarely your own. In Lucca,
even the smallest pebbles
breathe in the warm sunlight.
Knotted stones and cobbled roads
beat out a paper-dry heartbeat heat
my city breathes in and out,
inhales sparrow air.
It's writing a story.
You are the pen.
You will find that in Lucca
the daisy chains forge fire
in side streets and back alleys.
Teenagers intertwine. Tell me,
odd flower, are you still closed?
Here we are colored wax;
the heat of the city melts us.
We run into each other, rhapsody
of pigments. Operas are our specialties.
Open up; feel the reds.
If not, try and see them. There is a place
of deep knife marks, a street
long as midnight
you may learn something there.
Valentina's voice glimmers like red wine.
You may enjoy intoxications. Still,
know alcohol has no story
and will swallow your own.
Find the sign with the wolf on it.
You'll know the place. Epiphanies ring true as church-bells.
Lucca still guides the wanderers
to well sp
